This year marks the 150th anniversary of apple planting in Aomori, Japan's apple-producing region. Sheung Shui Plaza has specially invited a member of the Aomori Apple Countermeasures Council and Hong Kong Aomori Apple Friends Club to lend their full support to a 150th-anniversary summer festival - 'Aomori Ringo Natsu Matsuri', from 14 July to 31 August. Based on the famous Hirosaki Apple Park in Aomori Prefecture, six themed installations have been specially designed, including: a 3-meter-tall giant 'Apple Lantern'; 'Apple Festival in Summer' with a cute apple-shaped road convex mirror; a 10-meter-long 'Super Beautiful Lantern Wall'; a Neon apple-arched 'Apple Path'; 'Apple Forest', a Japanese-style apple light and shadow journey; and the popular photo spot, 'Apple Mailbox', transforming the L5 outdoor Sky Garden into an unprecedentedly fragrant 'Apple Park'.
