Sheung Shui Plaza | Sheung Shui Plaza Summer Presents 'Aomori Ringo Natsu Matsuri' 150th Anniversary of Apple Planting in Aomori, Japan, with Full Support from a Member of the Aomori Apple Countermeasures Council and Hong Kong Aomori Apple Friends Club

Description
This year marks the 150th anniversary of apple planting in Aomori, Japan's apple-producing region. Sheung Shui Plaza has specially invited a member of the Aomori Apple Countermeasures Council and Hong Kong Aomori Apple Friends Club to lend their full support to a 150th-anniversary summer festival - 'Aomori Ringo Natsu Matsuri', from 14 July to 31 August. Based on the famous Hirosaki Apple Park in Aomori Prefecture, six themed installations have been specially designed, including: a 3-meter-tall giant 'Apple Lantern'; 'Apple Festival in Summer' with a cute apple-shaped road convex mirror; a 10-meter-long 'Super Beautiful Lantern Wall'; a Neon apple-arched 'Apple Path'; 'Apple Forest', a Japanese-style apple light and shadow journey; and the popular photo spot, 'Apple Mailbox', transforming the L5 outdoor Sky Garden into an unprecedentedly fragrant 'Apple Park'. There will also be an 'Aomori Apple-style Summer Weekend Market', a limited-time 'Apple Sweetie Dessert Cart', and The Point members can enjoy free gifts of Japanese Aomori apple specialties and fruits with designated consumption, as well as free samples at the market and dessert cart, and exclusive Aomori Prefecture postcards and custom stamps at the 'In Search of Aomori's Mark' activity. The mall has also collaborated with Merci Cafe by Déesses and ABC Bakery to launch limited-time apple-themed dishes and exquisite desserts, along with an 'Aomori Apple Baking Class' to make your own sweets. Through color, light and shadow, taste, and aroma, the event will 'apple-fy' the charming scenery of Aomori, allowing everyone to indulge in an immersive, enchanting fruit fragrance experience.
3-Meter-Tall Giant 'Apple Lantern' for a Striking Visual Impact
First up is a zone themed around lantern streets, featuring a 3-meter-tall giant 'Apple Lantern' installation inspired by the Japanese Aomori-ya giant apple lantern craft, illuminating the L5 Sky Garden and captivating the entire venue with its Japanese aesthetic. Paired with a crate of crisp red apples and bottles of Q-version apple juice, it's like apple magic, evoking an explosion of girlish delight!
Must-Visit 'Apple Festival in Summer' Cute Apple-Shaped Road Convex Mirror
At the super sweet 'Apple Festival in Summer' installation, remember to strike the Natsu Matsuri drum to boost the atmosphere, then take a lovely photo in front of the unique apple-shaped road convex mirror in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. The sight of the crisp and fragrant red apples will instantly refresh and rejuvenate your mood.
10-Meter-Long 'Super Beautiful Lantern Wall' As If Transported to the Streets of Aomori, Japan
The 10-meter-long 'Super Beautiful Lantern Wall', crafted from rows of apple lanterns, exudes a romantic Japanese ambiance, making one feel as if they've stepped into the streets of Japan, heightening the sense of happiness.
'Apple Forest' with Apple Core Seats for a Relaxing Evening Amidst Apple Lights and Shadows
Take a leisurely stroll through the 'Apple Forest' with your family, lover, or bestie, and bask in the sun on the apple core seats, big and small, under the apple trees, striking fun poses for photos. Don't miss the adorable apple seed details, which are super likable. In the evening, special apple light and shadow projections, along with sound effects, are added, filling the ground with red apples, white flowers, and lush green leaves, immersing visitors in the sweet scenery of an apple orchard and instantly lifting their mood.
Light and Shadow Overflowing 'Apple Path' for a Memorable Walk
In another zone themed around light and shadow, experience the ambiance of the 'Apple Path', where a Neon-lit apple-arched corridor is adorned with Japanese-style apple lanterns and star lights, creating a stunning visual impact with its light and shadow effects.
'Apple Mailbox' Appearance 'In Search of Aomori's Mark' for Consumption Vouchers and Food Coupons
In Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, which boasts the highest apple production in Japan, apples are the symbol of the entire city, and the adorable 'Apple Mailbox' can be spotted everywhere.
